Organ transplant is a medical procedure in which a damaged or failing organ or tissue is replaced with a healthy one from a donor.
It is performed when an organ is severely damaged or no longer functions adequately, helping restore essential body functions and improve quality of life
Doctors evaluate the patient and donor, perform the transplant surgery, and provide medicines and follow-up care to help the body accept the transplanted organ.
